Academy Team Solutions – Teaching The Truth Behind The Lies Of Internet Marketing
Everybody comes to the Internet with one goal – to make money! Whether is be to replace an income that has been lost, subsidise an existing one, or just pay for some fun extras, we all want to earn extra money.
Lots of it in fact, even obscene amounts of it. You see, we’ve all been sold the IM dream. The dream that says you can make money on-line simply and easily without even breaking into a sweat. You can even stay in your pajamas and still make money – one hour a day max!
So you sign up on the glossy site page, full of all these very seductive promises, and BANG! You run straight into the reality of earning money on-line. The reality is that there is a massive learning curve to go through; that you have to work as hard at this as you do about anything else you want to succeed at; and you have to earn the right for people to give you their hard earned money!
The reality is certainly very different to the illusion! Until you realize this simple point you will go on losing money on-line! Until you get it straight in your mind that there are more lies told on-line than anywhere else in the history of lying you will continue to be disappointed and frustrated.
The simple truths are:
Gurus do not want to help you – all they want is your money
No one is lining up to pay you millions
And one hour a day will get you nowhere!
For any success in life there is a price to be paid and, unless you are prepared to pay the price, then do not enter the game. Very often I will work a full day in my demanding “day-job”, then come home and work on-line well into the early hours of the morning, grabbing a couple of hours sleep, and then repeating the cycle all over again. Ask absolutely anyone who has succeeded on-line and they will tell you the exact same story! The illusion is quick and easy, the reality is long and hard.
So, the first question for anyone wanting to work on-line is “Are you prepared to pay the price?” If the answer is “No”, keep your money safe, crack another beer, put your feet up on the sofa, and watch your favorite soap.
The second question to ask yourself is “Are you prepared to get real help?”. Help that is genuinely in your interest and not in the interest of the Guru who sees you as nothing more than a glorified ATM machine!
One of the main problems with Internet Marketing is that there is just so much to learn! Where do you start? How do you get your on-line enterprise off the ground? If you are prepared to work long and hard and get the best advice available, then you are streaks ahead of the vast majority of people attempting to earn money on-line.
But where do you turn? Just how do you sort the good from bad from the downright ugly? My own story is relevant here. I have been working on-line for nearly two years but with mixed results. If the definition of a successful business is the amount of profit in the bank, then I am not very successful at all!
I have had a lot of fun, been royally entertained by various programs, and have spent hour after hour trying different programs – always believing that the answer was in the next tweak, e-mail blaster, of piece of software. Does this sounds at all familiar?
The truth is that my success only turned around when I teamed up with Academy Team Solutions.
It is an Academy because it is a place of learning with a group of marketers willingly sharing their knowledge. They all gained their knowledge in the real world – by getting their hands dirty and building their success from the ground up. No smiling Gurus here – just a bunch of really ordinary people obtaining extraordinary results.
Secondly, it is a Team because everybody is working for everyone else’s success. If this promise sounds like something you might have heard before, then I have some refreshing news for you – in this case the promise is true! I have never experience such an amazing and electrifying group to work with. It is real, at the coal face, team effort where everyone is a winner.
And, finally, it a Solution because it gives you a real chance to do what we all come to the Internet for in the first place – earn some money! We do this by offering the only package that anyone working on the Internet really needs:
Domain name, unlimited web hosting, unlimited autoresponders, master resale rights for thousand of dollars worth of on-line resources, webinair rooms, website scripts, and much, much more. And the price for all this? Just $19.99 a month!
The great thing is that you can try the Academy effect out for yourself without having to open your wallet. Skype me on steve.cowley1 and I will get you to meet other people just like you within ATS – you can ask questions and listen to the chat and then make your own mind up whether it is for you.

What to Consider When Starting Your Internet / Home Business
The first and most important thing about starting up a business, any business, is making it possible for customers to find you. The second and probably just as important is having a strong, solid primary business. After that the rest is advertise, explore, advertise, learn, advertise, consistency, and did I mention â advertise?!
How do you make it possible for your customers to find you? On the internet, your address is your domain name. A domain name is the part of the address that comes after the www. With the never ending growth of the internet, dot.com domains, as well as others such as dot.org, domain names continue to sell by the millions. There are currently more than 20 million dot.com domains and more than 34 million total domains registered worldwide. Experts are estimating that there will be more than 500 million domain names registered in the next ten years. Some experts are even predicting that every personal computer will eventually have its own domain name. Wow! These numbers are huge and they continue to grow at an astronomical rate!
In the late 90âs, the dot.com business was beginning to take off and so many internet companies began to appear everywhere. Most companies were focusing on the internet Content, Banner Ads, etc., while the Founders of GDI were focusing on other extensions to domain names. They ultimately decided on the domain extension dot.ws, which belongs to the tiny island nation of Samoa. With the dot.com domains being so popular and for the most part, used up, it was virtually impossible to find the name you wanted still available. Who would have thought the lack of dot.com availability would have taken GDI and itâs founders to the top? Part of their success was in branding the .ws to signify âWebSiteâ. Simply brilliant because everyone knows what a web site is.
GDI was launched in early 2000 and by November of 2000, they had already sold over 100,000 dot.ws registrations. Not just to business ownerâs like you or myself, but to major companies like Cisco, Intel, Yahoo, Dell Computers, and other major companies in over 180 countries.
There is no limit to their future success. GDI has no competition in the network marketing industry. They are the only company that has the ability to market dot.ws domain names. There are no geographical or income limits with GDI.
Just like the toll free 800 numbers have been used up; and then came 888, 877, etc., dot.com is all but used up too. My selected name was taken at dot.com, but it was available at dot.ws, and now I own it for life! WWW.BETTERLIFESTYLE.WS.
GDI is stable and debt free! They were recently named number 37 on Inc. magazineâs list of the top 500 fastest growing companies (the âInc500 Listâ) and number 5 in the state of California. The founders have also been featured on the cover of Entrepreneur magazine.
There is nowhere you can get your own Domain Name, Website, Website Builder, URL Forwarding, Hosting, Website Parking, Name Server Provisions, Customer Support, Web Mail, Email Forwarding, POP, IMAP and 10 of your very own email addresses. WOW â everything you need to start your internet business and all of this for only $10 dollars a month! Whatâs even greater about GDI is; when you refer others to us, they will pay you for the referral and provide you with an âIncome for Lifeâ. Butâ¦before you even spend a dime, GDI welcomes you to their site for FREE! For seven days you can visit their site, secure your domain name, build your own website with their website builder (just like my site) and explore virtually every aspect of what GDI has to offer and where they are headed.
GDI is my primary business and you can see why. They are team builders because team = success. With success backing me, I will only succeed. GDI not only covers your basic business needs, but they can provide you with an INCOME.
If you are starting your own internet and/or home business, as I stated earlier, you want a strong, solid primary business. Once that is established, branch out, explore the possibilities. With GDI you get both; the customerâs accessibility to you and their companies strength. âThe Skyâs the Limit!â I almost forgot â Advertise! These are the keys to an online and/or home business.
If you missed out on the dot.com boom, be a part of what many major companies have already joined. Here are more companies you may be familiar with that are registered with dot.ws: Charles Schwab & Co. Inc., AT&T, Hormel Foods Corp., BMW, Hersheyâs Food Corp., Lucent Technologies, BoseCorp., Wells Fargo, Eastman Kodak Company, Bank of America, UPS, and many more.
My road to success and financial freedom is inevitable. Join me in success! Visit my website at www.betterlifestyle.ws to find out more information about the now company of the future â GDI. Let me help you with your success. I will share my business secrets and together with GDI we will be a part of the internet growth that is exploding.

Internet Banking – A Global Way To Banks In India
Today we are in the era of globalisation. Multinational organisations worldwide have adopted globalisation as their first strategic choice. Advancement in technology has facilitated globalisation too.  There has been a marked improvement particularly in the area of maintenance, storage, availability and transfer of data. The world has literally shrunk to become a “global village”.
Banks have transformed themselves and are offering services through internet. From computerization to networking to ATMs and now E-Banking, banks have moved up the value chain. Internet banking refers to the use of internet as a remote delivery channel for banking services.   It means any user with a personal computer and a browser can get connected to his bank website to perform any of the virtual banking functions.  The number of visits to the bank can be minimized effectively by operating from the internet account. Thus the number of contacts required to perform a transaction and solve a problem has been reduced through online banking. The usual branches of banks have culminated into PC networks, whereby the consumer can draw all the benefits and services of the bank at a single click of the mouse. Once the branch offices of bank are interconnected through terrestrial or satellite links, there would be no physical identity for any branch. It would a borderless entity permitting anytime, anywhere and anyhow banking.  A customer can log on banks website and access his account.
Evolution of technology in Indian banking
The technological development4 in banking can be traced as follows:-
1960 - Mechanised banking introduced.
1970 – Introduction of computer based banking industry.
1980 – Introduction of computer-linked communication based banking.
Advent of computer technology has created a major impact on working of banks. The computerization and subsequent development in history of Indian banks can be traced back to 1966 when Indian Bankers Association (IBA) along with exchange banks associationsigned first wage settlement with the unions, which accounted for the use of IBM or ICT accounting machines for inter-branch reconciliation etc.  A committee on computerization and mechanisation was appointed by RBI in 1983 under chairmanship of Dr. C. Rangrajan recommended that computerization and installation of Advanced Ledger Posting Machines (ALPM) at branch, regional and head offices of banks will bring around a new era in banking. Narsimhan Committee in 1991 paved way for reform phase in banking. Saraf Committee was constituted by RBI in 1994 that recommended the use of Electronic Fund Transfer System (EFT), introduction of electronic clearing services and extension of Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) beyond metropolitan cities and branches.
The rate of adoption of IT by foreign and private sector bank in the country has been significant over the last five years, which can be attributed to fierce competition and the internet phenomena worldwide. The arrival of private and multinational banks with their superior state of the art technology based services pushed the Indian banks to follow the suit by going in for the latest technologies to meet the threat of competitors and retain their customer base. “The last four years have seen dramatic changes, making customers’ convenience critical aspect of bankingâ. Indian metros are surging ahead in online banking usage. Today the delivery channel of banks include direct dial up connections, private networks, public networks etc. and the devices include telephone, Personal Computers including Automated Teller Machines, etc.
Impact of on line banking
It has been observed that customers who adopt online banking are typically more profitable to the bank, stay with the bank longer and use more products strengthening the bank customer relationship. Information Technology and Internet banking has bridged the information gap, which was interestingly because of human involvement. Banks can make the information of products and services available on their site, which is, an advantageous proposition.
Prospective customer can gather all the information from the website and thus if he comes to the branch with queries it will be very specific and will take less time of employee. Customer can visit these websites and can compare the services offered by a bank with that of another. Customer can get all the information, by saving money and time. The trend thus emerging out is that of virtual corporate system where the human role is minimized to maximum effect.
The overall banking size and structure has increased considerably. It can also be accredited to the current market characteristics. More private players and multinational banks are establishing their base in India. Earlier nationalized bank dominated the scenario. Now after deregulation private banks have emerged as a powerful force. As a result, there is a fierce competition among these players for capturing the savings of individuals and current accounts of organisations. This has been spearheaded by the liberalization in the insurance industry. Insurance industry is giving fierce competition through their offerings on various policies. This sudden surge has necessitated the use of technology in offering better services competitively. Most of the banks have coupled IT with their offering to add value.
Several banks have been positioning themselves as a one-stop shop financial service provider with a fairly exhaustive range of products, including deposit products, loans, credit cards, debit cards, depository (custody services), investment advice, bill payments and various transactional services. These apart, banks have also been entering into the business of selling third-party products such as mutual funds and insurance to the retail customers. To provide their customers greater flexibility and convenience as well as to reduce servicing costs, banks have been investing to computerize their branches and in new delivery channels such as ATMs, phone banking, internet banking and mobile banking.
Internet banking in India
The Reserve Bank of India constituted a working group on Internet Banking. The group       divided the internet banking products in India into 3 types based on the levels of access granted. They are:
Information Only System General Purpose information like interest rates, branch location, bank products and their features, loan and deposit calculations are provided in the banks website. There exist facilities for downloading various types of application forms. The communication is normally done through e-mail. There is no interaction between the customer and bank’s application system. No identification of the customer is done. In this system, there is no possibility of any unauthorized person getting into production systems of the bank through internet.Â
Electronic Information Transfer System The system provides customer- specific information in the form of account balances, transaction details, and statement of accounts. The information is still largely of the ‘read only’Â format. Identification and authentication of the customer is through password. The information is fetched from the bank’s application system either in batch mode or off-line. The application systems cannot directly access through the internet.Â
Fully Electronic Transactional System This system allows bi-directional capabilities. Transactions can be submitted by the customer for online update. This system requires high degree of security and control. In this environment, web server and application systems are linked over secure infrastructure. It comprises technology covering computerization, networking and security, inter-bank payment gateway and legal infrastructure.
Internet banking can be categorized in following stages:
Information Kiosks: traditional information on banking products and services are available on the website of the bank.
Basic I-Banking:Â Here, bank sets up infrastructure for internet banking and for accessing basic services like opening an account, paying utility bills and checking the balance.
Virtual medium: Here internet is taken as an official medium for financial transactions. Buying and selling activities can be undertaken through banks payment gateway technology. Today most of the banks are having their own functional websites through which banks are serving customers.

To pay our bills, all we need to do is complete a simple one-time registration for each biller. We can also set up standing instructions online to pay our recurring bills, automatically. The bank does not charge customers for online bill payment.
Fund transfer We can transfer any amount from one account to another of the same or any another bank. Once we login to your account, we need to mention the payeesâ account number, his bank and the branch. The transfer will take place in a day or so, whereas in a traditional method, it takes about three working days. ICICI Bank says that online bill payment service and fund transfer facility have been their most popular online services.

Investing through Internet banking We can now open an FD online through funds transfer. Now investors with interlinked demat account and bank account can easily trade in the stock market and the amount will be automatically debited from their respective bank accounts and the shares will be credited in their demat account. Moreover, some banks even give us the facility to purchase mutual funds directly from the online banking system.
Recharging prepaid phone Now we just top-up our prepaid mobile cards by logging in to Internet banking. By just selecting our operator’s name, entering our mobile number and the amount for recharge, our phone is again back in action within few minutes.
Shopping With a range of all kind of products, we can shop online and the payment is also made conveniently through our account. We can also buy railway and air tickets through Internet banking.
Advantages of online banking
The advantages of online banking can be encapsulated as:Â
– Convenient
-Unaffected by boundation of operational timings.
-No geographical barriers
- Services can be offered at very low cost
-cost per transaction through internet banking is very low.
Challenges in internet banking
Internet banking in India is in its earliest stage of development. Most of them are offering basic services only. The deregulation of banking industry coupled with the emergence of new banking technologies is enabling new competitors to enter the financial services market quickly and efficiently.
Indian internet banking faces following challenges:
Proper understanding of the customer For this a massive survey must be undertaken may be in collaboration with other banks.
Need for transparency in offering services as customers awareness has grown considerably.
Breach of privacy online transactions enter straightaway into the records revealing the identity of customer. Thus black money cannot be transferred with ease.
Bandwidth Though companies claim to offer good speed and high bandwidth, still there are problems in accessing high speed on net. Internet banking can go high only on the wings of proper infrastructure comprising telecommunications and bandwidth.
Computer literacy in India is still very low and that is a barrier in fast acceptance of Internet banking.
The mindset of the Indian customer needs to be changed.
Cracking login and passwords is a common way of fiddling with the data.
Denial of services Directing millions of queries can block computer network.
Data Diddling Data can be modified in an unauthorized manner. A customer can therefore receive bills of higher amounts than the actual transactions
Session hijacking Hijackers become unauthorized intermediaries between the server and the client; they can then hijack the data and prevent it from reaching the destination. Most online transactions involve disclosing up of the credit or debit card number. Hackers can very easily track down these numbers. They can thus enjoy the full benefits of the card without being an actual cardholder.                                                                                                                                         RBI has issued some guidelines on Internet banking for safety of customers and banks. Some of which are:
Application for account opening can be accepted over Internet but account should be opened only after proper introduction and physical verification of the customer.
Security procedure adopted by bank, for authenticating user, must be recognized by law as a substitute for signature, from a legal perspective.                                                                                                                              The secrecy and confidentiality of customers account has to be maintained.
Consumer Protection Act is applicable to banking services as well.
Information Technology Act 2000 has given legal recognition to creation, transmission and retention of an electronic (magnetic) data to be treated as evidence in court, except in those areas which continue to be governed by the provisions of Negotiable Instruments Act 1881.
Security precautions
Customers should never share personal information like PIN numbers, passwords etc with anyone, including employees of the bank. It is important that documents that contain confidential information are safeguarded. PIN or password mailers should not be stored, the PIN and/or passwords should be changed immediately and memorised before destroying the mailers.
Customers are advised not to provide sensitive account-related information over unsecured e-mails or over the phone. Take simple precautions like changing the ATM PIN and online login and transaction passwords on a regular basis. Also ensure that the logged in session is properly .Internet banking is changing the banking industry and is having the major effects on banking relationships out.
Security token devices
Protection through single password authentication, as is the case in most secure Internet shopping sites, is not considered secure enough for personal online banking applications in some countries. Basically there exist two different security methods for online banking.
The PIN/TAN system, the PIN represents a password which is used for the login and TAN represents one-time passwords to authenticate transactions. TANs can be distributed in different ways; the most popular one is to send a list of TANs to the online banking user by postal letter. The most secure way of using TANs is to generate them by need using a security token. These token generated TANs depend on the time and a unique secret, stored in the security token  which is called two-factor authentication or 2FA.Usually online banking with PIN/TAN is done via a web browser using SSL secured connections, so that there is no additional encryption needed. Signature based online banking where all transactions are signed and encrypted digitally. The Keys for the signature generation and encryption can be stored on smartcards or any memory medium, depending on the concrete implementation.
Attacks
Most of the attacks on online banking used today are based on deceiving the user to steal login data and valid TANs. Two well known examples for those attacks are phishing and pharming. Cross-site scripting and keylogger/Trojan horses can also be used to steal login information.
A method to attack signature based online banking methods is to manipulate the used software in a way, that correct transactions are shown on the screen and faked transactions are signed in the background.
Countermeasures
There exist several countermeasures which try to avoid attacks. Digital certificates are used against phishing and pharming, the use of class-3 card readers is a measure to avoid manipulation of transactions by the software in signature based online banking variants. To protect their systems against Trojan horses, users should use virus scanners and be careful with downloaded software or e-mail attachments.â
Conclusion
Internet banking is changing the banking industry and is having the major effects on banking relationships. The net banking, thus, “now is more of a norm rather than an exception in many developed countries” due to the fact that it is the economical way of providing banking services. Banking is now no longer confined to the traditional brick and mortar branches. There is need to scan and analyse the market and respond to the needs of customers and to generate awareness regarding advantages of internet banking. Providing internet banking is increasingly becoming a ‘need to have’ than a ‘nice to have’ services.

Try Anonymous Web Surfing – A Safe Way of Connecting to Other Internet User
In this world of spywares and antivirus you are never safe when you open your doors for surfing. Even though you have the latest antivirus program, there is no guarantee that the system information from your computer is not transferred to the net. All the information that you give to the net is watched closely by the hackers to know more about you and if they work step by step then they will be able to gather all the information about you one day.
If you are really worried about this problem then there is a reason to rejoice. This is the kind of net surfing known as the anonymous internet surfing. Generally when you input any information it goes to the host server of the sites and the hackers are experts in intercepting this before it reaches the servers.
Web browsing is among the most common actions of people nowadays. This is the most ideal way to rapidly connect to other people. Web browsing can be used in order to connect to business partners, friends and relatives who are located in different places. However, there are times when it can get scary using the web, especially when hackers are involved. Hackers are one of the most common problems in the internet world today.
Anonymous browsing is very beneficial to its users. When used in the right way, you can get the most out of the web. You can mainly get anonymous browsing services like proxy servers by using your preferred search engine.
With anonymous browsing, you will have the internet freedom that you deserve. You can surf the web without worrying that someone is going to find out what sites you visited. You can also buy things without being concerned that someone will be using your credit card at your expense.
When you opt for the anonymous web surfing, it closes all the options of sending any personal or system information like the IP addresses to the servers. Anonymous Web Surfing could be made possible with the help of proxy servers. This could be a bit expensive but it will create an effective anonymous surfing platform.

The Abc of Ssl: Super Duper Encrypted Security in an Age of Internet Commerce
Price for Progress
You have most probably viewed a digital SSL certificate in action by visiting sites where an “s” appears in the http:// of an address bar. The “s” stands for “secure” and indicates that data being exchanged by the web site and your Internet browser has been coded or encrypted. Additional proof of a secure web connection is provided through the appearance of a little padlock at the bottom of the browser. Internet Explorer 7 provides the added advantage of confirming a secure status through a color-coded address bar .
In case you have wondered how all this is articulated, wonder no more because we are here to tell you how.
Simple Definition
The abbreviation “SSL” stands for “secure socket layer” which is one of the many ways to code, scramble or encrypt online data. This form and level of encryption is achieved through the use of complex algorithms. Today, the standard level of encryption used when transmitting sensitive data over the Internet is called 256 bit SSL encryption. This form of digital data protection ensures that communication between a web site and your browser is first scrambled and coded at the point of departure and then subsequently decoded when it arrives at its chosen destination. In other words, even if the data is intercepted by a malicious software application or by a live individual, the data is not compromised in any way, shape or form.
SSL Certificate Wish List
Like everything technical, SSL certificates come in various strengths and combinations. Which SSL certificate is best for you depends largely on the type of e-commerce company you operate, your transaction volume and the level of browser access you wish to provide to your customers. Your SSL certificate vendor is in a position to perform a needs assessment on your site and recommend the right digital SSL certificate for you.
Standard SSL Certificate
For starters, there is the simple, garden variety vanilla SSL certificate which provides protection only to a single domain also known as FDQN or Fully Qualified Domain name. The most popular versions of web browsers currently in use such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari are fully compatible with this certificate. This SSL certificate is incompatible with sub-domains. If you have more than one sub-domain which you need to secure, you have a better option available which we will explore in a moment.
SGC SSL Certificate
The second category of digital SSL certificates is called the SGC certificate. SGC stands for server gated cryptography and essentially allows you or your online customers to use old 40 bit legacy browsers to step up to 128 or 256 bit capacity and thus provide an added layer of security. This SSL certificate costs much more than the starter SSL certificate described above and may not be worth the extra expense.
EV SSL Certificate
EV SSL certificates provide an unprecedented level of security and protection through confirmed identity assurance. Until the advent of this certificate, your customers had no visible indication on the browser to confirm that you were a legitimate and a verified enterprise. EV SSL certificates work in tandem with all popular browsers and indicate through a symbol of trust, a green address bar or even a clearly spelled out message, that your corporate identity has been verified by the SSL certificate authority. This process of verification is implemented by asking you to submit corporate documentation such as licenses, articles of incorporation, bank statements, phone bills and other forms of verifiable evidence. Internet Explorer 7 currently provides the maximum amount of information to site visitors about the nature of this SSL protection. The address bar in Internet Explorer 7 has been programmed to change colors to reflect the security level of the connection. The address bar turns green when the SSL encryption is fully in place. Additionally, this browser also displays the name of the SSL certificate provider as well as the name of the certifying authority. Since these attributes are available only in EV SSL certificates in conjunction with Internet Explorer 7, investing in this class of SSL certificates is worth a serious consideration. If you happen to be an established Internet commerce company and have the funds to invest in this class of SSL certificates, this might be the right protection package for you and your customers.
Wildcard SSL Certificate
A wildcard digital SSL certificate is ideal for you if you have a need to secure a primary domain and a host of sub-domains through data encryption. Under normal circumstances, SSL certificates tend to secure only a single primary domain or a sub-domain. For instance, if you had one primary domain such as http://mybook.com and two sub-domains such as http://library.mybook.com and http://research.mybook.com, you would have to invest in three separate SSL certificates. A single wildcard SSL certificate, on the other hand, can protect not only the primary domain but an unlimited number of sub-domains. This results in significant cost savings for those who need this level and quality of protection.
SSL Certificate Bottom Line
Digital SSL certificates can start from as low as $70 and can go all the way up to several thousand dollars depending on the class and strength of certificates you require. SSL certificates have a dated validity and usually expire in one year. To save money, it is best to purchase certificates with multiple year validity and shop around carefully during renewal time. The price for an SSL certificate typically includes the cost of customer support, trouble shooting and a warranty to cover losses arising out of protection failure in rare instances.
To Buy or not to Buy
Everyone knows that the Internet has created new avenues and opportunities for e-commerce. Unfortunately, this unbridled growth has also stirred up the criminal element. Until now Internet commerce companies did not have a viable solution to this rather serious problem, but now we do in the form of potent digital SSL technology which guarantees unparalleled cyber protection to one and all. Homeless Man Finds HOPE in Internet Business
By the time you finish reading this article you may well realize it as possibly the first article regarding Affiliate programs I’ve ever written. Not a problem I say. My name is DD Williams. I’m not here to talk about me. I have a desire to share with as many people as I can my experience with an individual I recently met who has become an internet affiliate marketing inspiration to me.
I searched my whole mind looking for a business subject for this article. It wasn’t until I gave up and started searching the neighborhood that I stumbled upon a middle aged man who completely intrigued me. To be honest I had expected the neighborhood to yield a vehicle or two with magnetic business signs or some other way of exclaiming the product or service they were willing to provide, their price and the best way to reach them. Instead what I found, to my surprise, was a dirty, timid individual with low self esteem seated on a bucket in a field working on an internet business.
He told me how circumstances had caused him to lose his job, his family and finally his home. He explained that he was in the library one day killing time, mostly just waiting out a rain storm when he discovered the internet. He said it was while he was looking for work that he found an internet business opportunity he could do, whenever he had a chance to get on a computer, which he believed could help him to earn at least enough money to pay on his post office box and his storage unit so as not to lose everything he owns.
He told me about the internet in its youth and how .com, .net, and .org were the only choices people or companies had for web address domains and that millions of dollars were made for their registrations. He let me know that a similar opportunity exists right now. Currently, there are more than 20 million dot com domains, and over 34 million total domains registered worldwide. Industry experts forecast that more than 500 million domains will be registered in the next ten years. In fact, reliable sources from companies like Intel are predicting that every personal computer in the future will have its own domain name. He went on to say that anyone can work from home assisting people and businesses with not only registering domains, but also with a web site, hosting and ten email accounts. Furthermore it is free to start and after that it is a mere ten dollars per month!
Affiliate marketing of domain names is currently among the hottest and therefore best online work at home opportunities currently available. It’s creating amazing benefits for the business, the customer and the affiliate as well. The market is huge it’s basically anyone who has internet access, wants or needs a web site and/or wants to make money. That’s billions of people! Imagine having this same business opportunity during the .com, .org, .net days. There were those who did and took full advantage of it becoming today’s richest. This homeless individual believes he’s found his ticket to getting off the streets and reuniting with his family. He wants to get off the streets. I want to help him. If you want to help him or want to start earning a few extra dollars per month, his web page will show you how. Go here to see his page www . website . ws /dwetexas.

6 Things to Know Before you Start an Internet Marketing Business
Are you ready to start an internet marketing business? Here are 6 things you should consider when starting an internet business of your own.
1. Even though you are doing your business at home and on the internet you may have other costs. Those could include getting it up and running such as a table or desk to work on, chairs, a phone, file cabinet, bookshelf, paper, pens, and paper clips. You will need a computer, possibly a printer, computer paper, and so on.
2. You may have more time than money. Others will have more money than time. It is cheap to set up an internet business, but you have to deal with your own set of circumstances and build it from where you are starting.
3. You will need hosting for a website or blog, a domain name, and someone to build your own website. It may even be you, or you can hire someone to do it for you at places like eLance.com. One other thing that all successful internet marketers do is build a mailing list using an autoresponder company such as GetResponse.
This is perhaps the most important step and should not be skipped. Building a mailing list is as simple as offering something for free in exchange for contact info from your prospect. The long term benefits of having a mailing list of thousand of names you can market to is obvious.
4. Be sure and include quality graphics on your website. This will make it look more professional. Add a blog and really begin to gain momentum quickly by adding a comments sections and other things like video, audio, and polls to make it really interactive.
5. Someone in your company will have to learn to write. You will be replying to email and adding fresh content to your site or blog if you get one. fresh content is what makes an internet business advance beyond that of the competition.
You can hire a good ghostwriter if you do not like to write, or do not have time to do it. The important thing is to build an internet business by offering many pages on content relating to many different keywords people are searching for products on. If you do that you will be a success.
6. Finally be prepared to become an expert on getting traffic to your site. Without visitors you will not make any money in your new internet marketing business.

What Does It Cost To Start A Home-Based Internet Business?: Part Two Of Four
(In Part One of this series–Can I Start A Home-Based Internet Marketing Business With a Zero Budget?–Thia discussed one category of business start-up called Capital expenses. Part Two, which follows, addresses Operating Expenses…and more.)
Q: What are “Operating Expenses?”
A: Operating Expenses are ongoing, recurring costs that go along with keeping a business tooled up and functioning to generate profits (which then go back into the business to grow it even more, etc).
Some operating expenses to work online from home might include the following:
Marketing–the actual promotion of the product, service, or opportunity will sometimes cost money. There are lots of ways to market online, and the options range from free (YES-much can be done with little or no cost whatsoever) to…well, not free.
Marketing costs can include such things as paid advertising (you can set the ceiling cost); subscriptions to list-building services; lead purchasing (not recommended by this business owner); domain/URL registration costs; website hosting; and such.
Communications systems–
You’ll need to maintain a high-speed Internet connection, phone service with voice mail and unlimited long distance, and perhaps an international calling plan (if you market globally).
Professional/support services–A merchant account is needed to take payments online); you may want subscriptions to various kinds of syndication (automated distribution) services, to ensure that your valuable content/offer is reaching the greatest number of potential customers; you may choose to outsource (that is, hire someone else to create or manage) some of your content (article writing, Web 2.0 properties, blogging, etc.); back-office support, including trainingand ongoing skill development.
NOTE: If you don’t invest in becoming an expert, those who do will quickly corner the profits that could have been yours.
Q: How about fees to “buy into” an Internet Marketing business?
A: These will vary, but yes-you can expect that in most cases there will be some kind of application and/or start-up fee. Beware the exceptions because the costs will only be more hidden.
Here are some tips to make sure you don’t get burned:
Anything you pay while you are still gathering information about a company or opportunity should come with a written money back guarantee.
Check to see what period of time the guarantee covers-24 hours? (not so much) 30 days? (much better)-and use that time to learn all you can.
Avoid any company that does NOT provide such a guarantee up front.
With a guarantee in hand you should be able to pay the “start-here” fee confidently-you will have little to lose and perhaps much to gain.
Q: How much is it reasonable to pay up front?
A: As with the previous questions, this one also depends–partly on you, and partly on what is included in the fee.
Use your head, along with your heart, on this one. Follow these guidelines:
An application or start-up fee should be modest-affordable for you;
the compensation plan presented to you should thoroughly explain what you would need to do to see both a return on your initial investment and future profits.
If you absolutely do not have the amount of money requested just to open the door, then the chances are good that this opportunity is out of your reach at this time.
Better to walk away than to get in over your head.

Minneapolis’ Star Tribune Newspaper’S Bias Reporting Causes Defamatory Speculation At Internet Marketing Firm (Updated)
On Tuesday, February 23, 2010 the Minnesota Division of the FBI and Secret Service raided the offices of iNetGlobal, located at 250 Second Avenue South in Minneapolis.
In an official statement released by iNetGlobal – (the Star Tribune never bothered to run), the company says:
On Tuesday, February 23, 2010 - U.S. Federal Agents arrived with a warrant to search the Minneapolis offices of iNetGlobal⢠looking for something to substantiate their claim that illegal activity was occurring in the business.
iNetGlobal⢠provides a number of essential internet tools and services for the small and home based business market.
These services include: Domain Registration, Web Hosting, Email Marketing, Shopping Cart, eCommerce, Local Business Directory, Press Release service, Search Engine, and Pay Per View Advertising services.
iNetGlobal offices will remain open to provide support to our thousands of customers from around the world. iNetGlobal will continue to provide the level of quality service our customers have come to expect now and into the future.
We would like to thank all of our Members and Customers for their support and well wishes in this trying time.
Thank you â iNetGlobal
The Minneapolis’ Star Tribune’s report on iNetGlobal was misleading, incorrect and lacked real information about iNetGlobal and the reason the Federal Government can only âsuspectâ a Ponzi scheme. Since the first posting of this story, KARE 11, KSTP 5 and a handful of bloggers and online media outlets have picked up on the tainted one-sided story that the Strib delivered to their wavering readership.
Remember, in the United States, the American people in business have no protection over the federal governments investigative branch. Without absolute facts American businesses are at the whim of federal agencies which can freeze bank accounts, take computers and close offices with nothing more than an allegation.
The land of the free and home of the brave is now being ruled with Communist, Gestapo tactics.
The United States government would never go into a non-profit, human service agency that had received millions of dollars in federal money to address a disparity in an under-served community that posted no results, but denies, obstructs and freezes assets from businesses on a daily basis without proof of guilt with a âwild, wild westâ mentality.
On Tuesday, February 23rd, Star Tribune reporter Jim Walsh, wrote, âFederal agents raided a Minneapolis business owned by local musician Steve Renner Tuesday morning in what authorities are âcalling‘ a suspected Ponzi scheme. The secret service said it would not divulge any other details at this time.â
The Star Tribune has not seen a copy of the search warrant; nor did they have relevant details about what triggered the investigation. The newspaper has used it’s âpowerâ to skew a story adding defamatory contempt prior to a full investigation and a Grand Jury inquiry.
Has the meaning of the word “calling” changed to âguilty?â
Just for the record: iNetGlobal⢠is a global Internet Service Company that provides essential services for its target marketâentrepreneurs, home-based business, small businesses, and corporationsâall those who need to market on the Internet. These âVâ core services includeâV-Websâ¢, V-Newswireâ¢, V-Localâ¢, V-Webcast⢠and V-Shops⢠â in addition to its online advertising services make up the bulk of the company’s business. Following its humble beginnings in 2006, iNetGlobal finally perfected what is now its current product lineup in July 2008. Since introducing the iNetGlobal⢠services, the company has become one of the fastest growing Internet service companies in the world.
Our business model pays individuals to âSurf the Webâ while using our products to promote and build capacity for their small businesses. iNetGlobal members are no different than Marketing Experts who sell online advertising and get paid commissions. In traditional advertising and marketing, the cost for such exposure would be phenomenal and beyond the reach of most small businesses.
iNetGlobal has created opportunities on a Global level.
iNetGlobal’s âVâ core services are the back-bone of online Internet marketing. Following iNetGlobal’s⢠humble beginnings in 2006, the company finally perfected what is now its current product lineup in July 2008. Since introducing the iNetGlobal⢠services, the company has become one of the fastest growing Internet service companies in the world.
When staff questioned the intrusion of the government agencies, Robert MacQueen, Secret Service Lead Search Agent said, âThis Company (iNetGlobal) is running a Ponzi scheme. We have 3500 Chinese filing a suit that said this.â Special Agent MacQueen went on to say, âWe have frozen your bank accounts and the âvictims’ will get their money back.â One of the staff of iNetGlobal asked the agent âIsn’t that for the courts to decide? It looks like you have found the company guilty with contempt, prior to investigation.
In closing, the United States of America was founded on hard working individuals that wanted to make a better life for themselves. It seems currently, if an individual is successful the federal government and the ponds they use (Star Tribune) paint an unrealistic picture of entrepreneurial success.
But really, when was the last time you purchased a newspaper versus reading your news online?
I feel the Star Tribune newspaper has lacked journalistic integrity in this story, and in other stories by not allowing their readership the option to see both sides.
